When Sean Wearmouth wasn't home from his night out, his mum June wasn't unduly worried. After all, he was 29 and he had been through a hard time recently with losing his job and the breakdown of his relationship with his partner. But when he still wasn't home as time ticked by and there was no contact, she reported him to the police as missing. But then days later, the dreaded knock on the door came from the police to say that Sean had been murdered... It was the start of the holidays as the two yound girls ran down to the beach, enjoying their freedom. Following heavy rain the evening before, the girls were enjoying a dry, sunny morning on the coast. One of the girls spotted something amongst the flotsam, near the high tide mark. As young children would, they curiously approached the mysterious object hidden in the debris. A black plastic bag lay out before them, clearly containing something large inside. The girls peered inside. Seconds later, upset and crying, they were both frantically running home from where their deeply concerned mum called the police. This episode comes from Coventry where thirty year old Thomas Coleman was taking a horticultural course to get the experience needed for a permanent job. There he met a man ten years his junior, Robert Green who was on the same course. The pair struck up a friendship of sorts, although the two men were markedly different people. For instance, Robert Green sported a satanic symbol tattooed across his forehead whilst Thomas Coleman placed great faith in his Christian beliefs – as you can see, not the most obvious of friends. When Green believed the Devil had told him to make a human sacrifice, the man he chose to attack was his quiet and gentle work colleague, Thomas Coleman.
